GROWING SHIITAKES ON LOGS
Saturday
October 17, 12pm – 4pm
*registration deadline : 8:00pm Wednesday 10/14
We will go over mushroom cultivation 101, tour the farm and each student will inoculate their own log with shiitake spawn. All attendees will take their log home to watch it grow and enjoy their harvests.
The classes will have a 5 person maximum attendance, social distancing will be observed and masks are required. We are closely monitoring the pandemic in our area, and if any conditions change we will cancel the workshops and members will receive full refunds. We recognize that these are small class sizes, and if there is greater interest we will offer other dates to accommodate all those who are interested.
