Hiring Mushroom Farm Crew

The Mushroom Farm Crew member will participate in all aspects of our farm operations and mushroom production. Responsibilities include harvesting, inoculating, mushroom processing, wholesale packing and delivery, farm chores, and occasional farmer’s markets. The crew member will work alongside the farm owners, and be trained in all the workings of the farm. 

The position offers a lot of variety in daily tasks, applicants need to be flexible in their ability to transition from different tasks and enthusiastic about getting dirty and having fun.

Compensation and schedule:

• 4 days per week with one Sunday market per month, 25-30/hrs total + market compensation

• $20/hr 

• Start date beginning of march - until mid december

• Plenty of fresh mushrooms to bring home

• Workdays include ½ hour unpaid lunch break

Requirements:

• Comfortably able to lift 50lbs.

• Driver’s License

• Personal transportation

• Ability to work outside in all conditions: heat, cold, rain, snow, etc

• Attention to detail

• Love for farming and learning

• Comfortable working collaboratively and independently
